We do not have common ground to reach any agreement.

I argue that the government (state), must provide 3 basic things.

Food
Shelter
Security
After the history of socialism in the Soviet Union, Cambodia, and National Socialism in Germany in the last century, it is disturbing to find that people still advocate it.

All three examples are dictatorships using socialism to mask the facts, mislabeling does not change reality.

The right uses the myth of free entreprise to create socialism for the powerful and free entreprise for the rest of us.

Let's use the current Socialism modeled on Germany today, yet I don't want to use any model. We can create our own socially responsible government that provides “The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;”

I'm saying provide for the "the General Welfare"!

Of all the lies sent down to torture the life out of our country was that; "Government is not the solution, Governement is the problem". Saint Reagan
We may never recover from this lie.
