in response to the referendum budget...remember that this is merely a recommendation. the committee and board will seek input from staff and community.

Most everything has been restored, some items such as teaching staff were restored with a reform element to provide more support in the classroom.

The good people in the Monroe County Surveyor's Office have kindly provided the attached map of the school board districts. They will later produce a more detailed version that can be zoomed to see individual streets. This version, however, provides a quick overview of the districts. If you live near one of the district boundaries, you can call the Voter Registration Office (349-2690) or Ruth (335-7219) for information about the district in which you live.

Elections for Districts 2, 4, 5, and 6 will be held on November 6, 2012.

Elections for Districts 1, 3, and 7 were just held in 2010, and unless someone resigns, these seats will not be decided again until 2014.
