We'd like to hear what you do, how you got started, and what took you off the paycheck path to pursue such an uncertain vocation.
Pleaes note that this is not a place to post ads, or copy and paste your marketing messages. It's rather a person-to-person way to explain what you do, or to ask other businesses about theirs.
Also, announcements fromr local business support organizations like the Chamber, BNI, Rainmakers, etc. are welcome as well.

Election 2008
The purpose of this forum to supplement the old style process of one-way candidate-voter communcation, to help candidates to learn more about your concerns as well as informing you of theirs. This allows you to ask a candidate directly rather than hope a reporter asks it, or a press release contains it.
This is NOT for candidate-to candidates discussions. Candidates are requested not to compare themselves with another candidate, criticize another candidate, or post in each another candidate's forum.

Idea Exchange
Fortunately, not everybody sees the same event or situation the same. Everyone has a wealth of past experiences and often different sources of information concerning the same topic.
Hopefully we can learn from each other here and hear the many sides to the same story and perhaps draw a more informed conclusion than the one we brought in.
Facts and citing sources are always welcome in this area.

This is not about parties or candidates. It's about the process of getting elected - media coverage, how votes are counted, the process of caucuses, primaries, Electoral college, "Super Delegates", etc.
Does the current system work, or would some change be beneficial?

Single in Bloomington
(1 Viewing)
Often singles are viewed as a single bookend searching for it's match, pining away for their soulmate. However, this is not always the case. Many singles are quite happy to be single, but still enjoy dates, and find it easier to play tennis if there is someone on the other side of the net.
Hopefully this part of the forum will help singles find each other, whether you are looking for a life partner or a tennis partner.
