It's all very easy to talk about cleaning up the environment, but often the specifics get dropped. It's also easy to feel overwhelmed, thinking of global conditions like greenhouse gasses, an ocean full of mercury, and other huge issues. Let's share ways here how we can have a practical impact right now, and right here in Bloomington!

Whether you're an alum, an IU student's parent, or someone coming down for a visit, you can find out the current state by asking those of us still here. It's no surprise to anyone who's been away for more than a few months that things happen fast in Bloomington. Woods turn into classrooms. Parking lots turn into apartments. Apartments turn into parking lots. Ask your questions here to get answers from the people who live here.

Idea Exchange
Fortunately, not everybody sees the same event or situation the same. Everyone has a wealth of past experiences and often different sources of information concerning the same topic. Hopefully we can learn from each other here and hear the many sides to the same story and perhaps draw a more informed conclusion than the one we brought in. Facts and citing sources are always welcome in this area.

This is not about parties or candidates. It's about the process of getting elected - media coverage, how votes are counted, the process of caucuses, primaries, Electoral college, "Super Delegates", etc. Does the current system work, or would some change be beneficial?

Single in Bloomington (1 Viewing)
Often singles are viewed as a single bookend searching for it's match, pining away for their soulmate. However, this is not always the case. Many singles are quite happy to be single, but still enjoy dates, and find it easier to play tennis if there is someone on the other side of the net. Hopefully this part of the forum will help singles find each other, whether you are looking for a life partner or a tennis partner.
