Rachael's Cafe grew out of a desire to create a friendly, inclusive, peaceful atmosphere for all. Our mission is to bring understanding, education, and acceptance over a cup of coffee.
To drink, we offer gourmet coffee, tea, beer and wine. Our foods include homemade pastries, sandwiches and soups, salads, eclectic gourmet entrees, and a variety of vegetarian and vegan options.
We believe that high quality, modestly priced food and drinks served in an unashamed, eclectic environment will nurture the meeting and mixing of both friends and strangers. An open mic night gives everyone the chance to express their views share their talents, and have open discussions on diverse topics. We have also become a popular venue for local musicians.
Bloomington is a fabulous community full of open people - but is lacking a place designed to welcome folks of all walks of life, be it gender, race, religion or whatever your sameness or uniqueness may be!
