I am Bruce Smith “Smitty” I grew up doing upholstery, my father opened his shop in Indianapolis Indiana in 1967. I started helping in the shop. As soon as I could figure out which end of the wrench to use. I started working the entire summer at the shop in 1982. It was a learning experience, I learned from the best in the business on complete upholstery skills. One of the first things that I ever learned was how to put on convertible and vinyl tops. After many years of experience I am able to do any and all upholstery services. In 1990 I met my future wife Angela, and in 1991 we were married. Since we met she started working in the shop. She has become a master upholsterer. I haven’t talked her into doing convertible tops yet, but I am still working on that. We work together on projects whether it’s a hot rod, custom ride, or a classic original. We have a two person operation so we are able to pay close attention to detail. We enjoy working closely with our customers to make sure they get exactly what they want. During the Interior Build, they are constantly aware of every step. We consider ever job a chance to show our skills and deliver what our customers imagine they want. We are looking forward to a long future in customizing Hot Rods “like yours”. Including all of the challenges included.
